The concept of HematologyTimes first began in 1980 when our publisher, Jonathan Wood, was editor of Oncology Times, a multisponsor medical newspaper for oncologists, currently published by Lippincott. At the time, the idea was to have a publication as equally dedicated to hematology as Oncology Times was to oncology. The concept changed as technology advanced, and the result was HematologyTimes.com™, an interactive online publication providing information relating to all aspects of hematology.
