2026年第六届世界交通与土地利用大会(the 6th World Symposium on Transport and Land Use Research)定于2026年6月7-11日在中国北京举行，这是该大会首次在亚洲举办，由中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所(IGSNRR-CAS)和中国地理学会(GSC)共同主办。会议论文征集时间为2025年9月15日-11月15日，欢迎广大学者和研究生积极投稿与参与！

Announced by the World Society for Transport and Land Use Research , the 6th World Symposium on Transport and Land Use Research will be held in Beijing, China, from June 7 to 11, 2026. The conference is co-organized by the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGSNRR-CAS), and the Geographical Society of China (GSC).

As one of the most important academic platforms founded by WSTLUR, the symposium has been successfully held in Canada (2011), the Netherlands (2014), Australia (2017), the United States (2021), and Colombia (2024). In 2026, this symposium will be held in Asia for the first time. We sincerely invite scholars and experts worldwide in transport studies, land use studies, and related disciplines to participate in the symposium.

WSTLUR2026 welcomes participants who submit studies on the following session tracks.

Tracks

·Active travel and micromobility 

·Public transport services and networks

·Travel behaviour and experiences

·Accessibility and land use

·Electric Vehicles (EV), Autonomous Vehicles (AV), shared mobility, and new technologies

·Regional transportation and planning 

·Freight, logistics, Information and communications technology (ICT), aviation, and resilience

Submission and registration

Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts (between 1500 and 2500 words) by 15 November 2025.

The abstract should include the research motivations, objectives, and findings, emphasizing the methodological and/or theoretical advances. All contributing authors and their affiliations should be included.

The registration will be open on 1 February 2026.
