Big changes are starting to happen in procurement. In days past procurement functions were mainly measured by the savings they achieved. Nowadays, procurement is becoming more strategic, more collaborative, and more technology-dependent than ever before. The function is changing, fast. Procurement must accelerate its transformation from a back-office function to a collaborative, forward-thinking organization that is capable of leading change and enabling innovation within the supply chain.
