Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Doctor, Professor. Xuedong Chen is currently the Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH), Chairman of the board of Directors of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., Director of the National Technical Research Center on Safety Engineering of Pressure Vessels and Pipelines, and is concurrently a member of the Asia-Oceania Regional Council of the International Conference on Pressure Vessel Technology (ICPVT-AORC), Vice President of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society(CMES), and Deputy Director of the Failure Analysis Committee of CMES.
Jinji Gao
Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China
Professor Gao Jinji, the specialist of equipment diagnosis engineering, was born in Liaoning Province China. He received a Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University in 1993. He served as deputy chief engineer of PetroChina Liaoyang Petrochemical Company from 1988 to 2001.

Yukitaka Murakami

Yukitaka Murakami is an Emeritus Professor at Kyushu University, Japan, where he obtained his PhD, and a Visiting Professor at Aalto University, Finland. Over the past 40 years, Professor Murakami has found that defects and inclusions contained in material are the crucial factor affecting fatigue strength. Based on this finding, he first developed a technology to employ artificial small defects and then established a model to quantitatively evaluate the effect on fatigue strength. This parameter model is utilized widely by researchers and engineers worldwide.
Zhen-Guo Yang
Fudan University, China
Prof. Zhen-Guo Yang is a tenured professor of materials science at Fudan University and obtained his PhD in mechanical engineering from East China University of Science & Technology in 1988. He worked as a postdoctoral at Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden in Germany from April 1994 to May 1995 and as a guest professor at Technical University of Munich in Germany from February 1996 to June 1997.
