我们代表组委会热情地邀请您参加于2014年9月27日 - 29日在中国上海召开的《2014年国际病毒进入抑制剂研讨会》（2014 International Symposium on Virus Entry Inhibitors，ISVEI）。本次会议是由医学分子病毒学教育部/卫生部重点实验室及中国南方医科大学药学院（广州）联合主办，其主题为“御敌于门外”。
在20世纪90年代初，数个衍生于HIV-1 gp41 HR2（或CHR）结构域衍生的多肽被发现是高效的HIV融合/进入抑制剂。其中的一个多肽，T20（通用名：恩夫韦肽; 商品名：Fuzeon）于2003年获得美国FDA的批准成为第一个HIV融合 / 进入抑制剂，用于治疗艾滋病毒感染或艾滋病患者，特别适用于那些对现有的抗逆转录病毒药物的无反应者。这些抗HIV多肽的发现开辟了一个全新的方向 – 研究病毒进入抑制剂来拮抗包膜病毒，如副粘病毒[包括呼吸道合胞病毒（RSV）、人副流感病毒类型3（HPIV-3）、麻疹病毒（MV）、仙台病毒、Menangle病毒、腮腺炎病毒和新城疫病毒等]、流感病毒、登革热病毒、C型肝炎病毒（HCV）、以及那些导致新发传染病疾病的病毒 （如埃博拉病毒、Nipah virus、Hendra virus、SARS冠状病毒和MERS冠状病毒）。
在过去的十年中，在病毒融合 / 侵入抑制剂，包括小分子、多肽和蛋白质（包括抗体）的研究取得了前所未有的快速进展。本次研讨会将聚焦于病毒进入靶细胞的机制和病毒进入抑制剂的研究，将给与会者提供很好的机会来与来自不同学科（包括病毒学、药物学、免疫学、分子生物学、生物化学、病理学和临床）的国际同行们深入地探讨病毒进入抑制剂领域的关键科学问题。
