INVITATION FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE CONGRESS

Dear Friends,

It is a great pleasure to announce that the XXIX WORLD CONGRESS OF THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF ANGIOLOGY (IUA 2020 World Congress) will be held in Rome, Italy from April 23rd to 27th, 2020 at the Sheraton Parco de’ Medici Rome Hotel.

The scientific programme will include multidisciplinary symposia, plenary lectures, consensus meetings, workshops and free paper sessions on the major topics and advances in the fields of angiology, vascular and cardiovascular medicine and surgery, phlebology, lymphology, thrombo-embolic disease and interventional techniques. An outstanding Faculty has been assembled to provide the most up-to-date best practice guidelines on vascular topics.

I would like to invite you to join us in this project and to actively contribute by providing examples of your scientific work to the Meeting. You will be able to meet many specialists from countries around the world and discuss clinical cases, new research results and major advances in the fields of angiology, phlebology and of vascular medicine and surgery.

We look forward to receiving original scientific papers from young researchers of different countries worldwide. Free paper sessions will be organized and dedicated IUA Prizes sessions for young researchers will be part of the programme.

Rome is a unique destination rich in history, art and culture, and has always been very attractive for vascular specialists. April is a very pleasant time of the year to be in Italy.
