Since the success of 1st (Beijing, 1993), 2nd (Beijing, 1998), 3rd (Beijing, 2001), 4th (Xi’an, 2004), 5th (Beijing, 2008), 6th (Lanzhou, 2011) China International Symposium on Tribology, the 7th China International Symposium on Tribology (CIST 2014) will be held from April 27th to 30th, 2014 in Xuzhou, China. The symposium normally attracts key researchers in tribology from around the world and provides an opportunity for informal discussions as well as oral and poster sessions.
With the continuous growth of China’s economy and financial support from both government and industry, China tribology society grows very rapidly both in fundamental research and in developing tribological solutions for industry. Tribologists and lubrication engineers are confident in making key contributions to achieve the carbon emission reduction target by providing reasonable design and more efficient lubrication to machines, which require tight collaboration of experts from all over the world.
